Background:

I’ve been on an incredible musical journey, and I’d like to teach you a bit about what I’ve learnt. From teaching dozens of private students per week as a Vocal and Piano Teacher in Johannesburg and prestigious boys school St Stithians, to touring with international artists like The Tenors (Canada) and Babylon Circus (France), I have been blessed with amazing opportunities to hone my skills and showcase my talents. Not only have I performed at a huge range of events and festivals in across the world (including South Africa, Seychelles and the Middle East), but I was also nominated for Rock Album of the Year at the 2009 South African Music Awards as part of the Voodoo Child band, which I founded and directed. Over the years I’ve also gained experience in musical direction, concept development, stage management, event planning, and studio and audio recording — like every musician knows, at some stage in your career you’re going to have to do a bit of everything! Whether I'm playing soul, rock, jazz, or classical; from original music, jazz standards to covers, I am known for bringing a contagious energy and enthusiasm to every performance — something I want to teach you to do.
