Learning music since I was 9yrs old have given me lot of opportunities to play, observe and seek more. I have performed in different festivals in India, performed in a Guinness world record event which was organized by “Art of Living” in 2012. I have been playing percussion in various devotional and folklore music in India. I got an opportunity to compose for different musicals in a social organization “Jnana prabodhini”. It’s my pleasure to record cajon, tabla and other percussion for different artists around the world. I am glad and feel honoured to be a part for Gilberto Gill tribute where he got an honorable doctorate from Berklee College of Music. I was responsible to play percussion in two of the beautiful songs by Gilberto Gill namely Rafazenda, Palco. As a research on my musical innovation I have been working on different instrumental tracks based on different meters combining African polyrhythms, flamenco music, latin, middle eastern rhythm with a foundation of indian tala system. I have been teaching Indian rhythm in different countries like Canada, Australia, India & Spain. I have specialized in Indian, Middle eastern, Flamenco & African polyrhythms.
