Hi, I'm Katie! I'm a trombonist, music educator, and private teacher, currently living and working in Bethlehem, NH, USA. I recently graduated with my Master’s Degree in Trombone Performance from the Hartt School in West Hartford, CT, USA. Before Hartt, I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumental Music Education at East Tennessee State University. I've played in all kinds of ensembles - wind ensembles, orchestras, brass ensembles, chamber groups, pit orchestras, and more! I work with students of all ages and abilities, including beginners, young students, and adults. I believe learning an instrument is a great way to learn important life skills, too - like problem solving and critical thinking - while also having fun making music!
