Background:

Throughout 20 years of experience, I´ve had the pleasure to work with some of the biggest names in Mexican alternative music. I have played in award winnings musicals such as National Pastime, Qué Plantón! and Amor hecho a mano. As a composer/producer I have written and produced music for tv, theater plays, modern dance plays and worked as a producer for artists from different backgrounds, ranging from Jazz and Rock up to Hip hop or Pop. Currently I lead my jazz project EMQ (Ernesto Mercado Quintet) and own a production studio.
